It all started with a handful of runners regularly meeting at the ‘Somewhere Else’ bar in Cirencester before they set off on a pleasurable jog through the local area. The group of runners made their way back to the bar and one evening sat down and felt, with numbers growing, a club should be formed and a structure put in place. That was the easy bit! The hardest part was coming up with a name for the club, hmm? A bright spark in the group made two clear observations; we enjoy ‘Running’ and enjoy a drink in ‘Somewhere Else’ afterwards. At this very point ‘Running Somewhere Else’ was formed.
